Methodology

All we needed was a videocam and an editing software called Ulead Studio.

We set Saturday for us to get to the Talisay City’s Butterfly Sanctuary.  Camille being the most talkative in class was in charge in talking.  Mr. Estrada informed us about the storyboard and all we have to do is implement it spontaneously! WOW! That’s really something crazy… crazy yet all we know that it will be FUN!

SCRIPT.  No script needed since it was all in plain Cebuano language that we use and Camille just did the rest.

VIDEOSHOOT.  The plan was to take the shoot as if we were tourists.  Guess what? While shooting, we were felt we were tourists since it was our first time to really be keen observers on the places that we are going to do the shoot and we really had fun doing it!

SMART LOGO.  The idea of including the Smart Logo in our video was all natural since it’s all over the area.

EDITING.  Ulead was then introduced to us on how to edit the video and teacher Bien taught us how to edit our videoshoot.  It was like hitting two birds in one stone.  We shoot the video and we edit the video.

UPLOADING.  With a very limited time we uploaded the video at the 11th hour with our fingers crossed hoping this will get through the contest.

NEXT.  What lies ahead of us is the UNKNOWN.  As the saying goes “Man’s greatest fear is the UNKNOWN”.  Today, we realized that this unknown is identified as REJECTION.  We don’t care if this material that we’ve created will be rejected but all we know now is that we have proven ourselves that we can make a difference and we’re PROUD of it!
